Valued
Clients,
COVID-19
(coronavirus) has impacted each of us in our community. At Firgrove
Veterinary Clinic, the health, safety, and well-being of our clients, our patients,
our team, and our community is our number one priority. We remain committed to offering a safe and healthy environment for
you and your pets as well as our team. To do this we are offering, and
recommending, the following for patient visits:
Ø Please
use the sanitizing agents at the front desk upon arrival.
Ø Please
respect the “social distancing” recommendations to the best of your ability and
refrain from shaking hands.
Ø
All clients have the option to call us from
their vehicle upon arrival to have a team member check their pet in for exam
and have a receptionist complete payment at the time of discharge. This would
include having a staff member meet you at your vehicle, bring your pet into the
hospital and return them to you when the exam and treatments are complete. We
will also offer this option for any clients bringing pets in for medical
drop-offs, hospitalization as well as surgery. Please let our team know when
you schedule or confirm that you would like to utilize this option and call us
from your vehicle when you arrive the day of your appointment.
Ø We
strongly recommend any immune compromised or other clients who are most susceptible
to COVID-19 have a friend or family member bring their pet in for them as social
distancing in the facility could prove to be difficult. Please call and inform
us who will be brining your pet and if they are authorized to make medical and
financial decisions for you or if you would like to be contacted and at what phone
number. Payment can be made over the phone using a credit card or by the CareCredit
Pay My Provider option online after the visit – please let us know if you’ll be
utilizing the CareCredit option. All medical and surgical admittance forms
can be completed online utilizing the forms section of our website (http://firgrovevets.vetstreet.com/)
under links.
Ø If
you are ill, please consider staying home and having a friend or family member
bring your pet in. Please call and inform us who will be brining
your pet and if they are authorized to make medical and financial decisions for
you or if you would like to be contacted and at what phone number. Payment can
be made over the phone using a credit card or by the Carecredit Pay My Provider
option online after the visit – please let us know if you’ll be utilizing the CareCredit
option. All medical and surgical admittance forms can be completed online utilizing
the forms section of our website (http://firgrovevets.vetstreet.com/)
under links.
To prevent the spread of disease, the
following will now be in effect for all hospitalized pets and pets admitted for
surgery:
·
No personal items can be kept with the pet
while hospitalized or boarding, including blankets, toys, collars, leashes,
etc. Carriers may be left. If the person dropping the pet off is not the same
as the person picking up, you may utilize one of our slip leads.
·
Please clean your carrier, leash, and collar
as carefully as possible before arrival with an alcohol-based solution.
Thank
you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to call us with any
questions. We’re here for you, your pets, and the community. We will continue
to keep you informed as news and information becomes available.
Sincerely,
Your
Firgrove Veterinary Clinic Family
