To Our Valued Clients:

Historically, Firgrove has had the business structure that allowed us to accommodate clients with an appointment same day if not within 24-hours. This business model was not made possible because we had a small patient load, but because we purposefully built our schedule around being conveniently accessible for our clients and patients. 

Over the past year, our patient load has filled our schedule so quickly that we have often been unable to provide the same level of on-demand care our clients have come to expect from us despite our greatest efforts. This has been partially due to staffing as nationwide there is a shortage of Veterinarians as well as Licensed Technicians. Additionally, many businesses in the area have found it difficult to find applicants for open positions despite the unemployment numbers being reported. We have found it difficult to accommodate our clientele while providing the level of care that we require of ourselves. Subsequently, we have been inundated with new patient requests in addition to keeping up with our long-term, loyal clients who became backlogged as their routine preventive care was postponed. During this time of limited capacity, our priority is being as available to you as we can be, therefore we declined to take on new clientele mid 2020. We are aware that a large segment of our new client requests come from individuals with genuine need and, while we are regretful turning away those who seek our help, our time and the staff available to us are limited resources.  

Due to ongoing staffing shortages, we will be reducing our hours of operation beginning Monday, June 7, 2021.

Beginning Monday, June 7, 2021, the clinic hours will be as follows:

Monday: 7:00AM to 7:00PM (no change)
Tuesday: 7:00AM to 6:00PM
Wednesday 7:00AM to 6:00PM
Thursday: 7:00AM to 6:00PM
Friday: 7:00AM to 6:00PM
Saturday: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (no change)
Sunday: CLOSED (no change)

* Doctors will see appointments starting at 8am each day.
* There is no doctor in the building from 7am - 8am Monday - Friday.
* There is no doctor in the building from 6pm - 7pm Tuesday - Friday.
* Vaccine boosters with a technician will be available most Mondays from 9am – 1pm beginning June 7, 2021.
