We are excited to announce that Firgrove Veterinary Clinic has, once again, passed our evaluation for AAHA Accreditation! Yesterday we were evaluated on approximately 900 rigorous veterinary standards and are proud to call ourselves an AAHA accredited hospital for 26th year.
What does this mean for you, our clients and patients? It means our hospital holds itself to a higher standard, and that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that has passed the highest standards in veterinary care. Did you know that human medical facilities are required to be evaluated, but veterinary clinics aren't? The American Animal Hospital Association is the only association that evaluates veterinary facilities and not all animal hospitals are accredited. Nearly 60% of pet owners think their pet’s veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not. In fact, only about 3,700 (12-15%) animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited. We are proud to be voluntarily evaluated on the standards of medical care we provide to your pets and will continue to hold ourselves to the highest medical standards.
You can learn more about what standards we hold ourselves to for your pets as an AAHA accredited hospital by going to https://www.aaha.org/pet_owner/aaha_standards/default.aspx.
Thank you for supporting us in our quest for continued excellent care of your precious family members!
